The VAT logic implements UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 and its Executive Regulations as understood at the time of writing. It is a technical implementation, not tax or legal advice. Verify against current FTA publications before go-live.

Financial documents are never edited or deleted — corrections are made by voiding or by issuing a credit note, so the audit trail stays intact.
